Shabbos Kiddush
The kehilla is invited to a Kiddush this Shabbos, Parshas Beha'aloscha, immediately after davening (about 10:40 start time) at Kehillas Shivtei Yeshurun (10A Dolev). The Kiddush is sponsored by the Bergenfeld family in memory of Mrs. Bergenfeld's father, Haskal ben Shmuel (Howard Woolf), on the occasion of his 3rd Yahrzeit.

A New Series of Shiurim by Rav Yaacov Haber
Reflections on the
history, background and message of the Tannaim
As he did with his successful "New Heights in Tefilla" shiurim, Rav Haber will draw upon mussar, chasidus, kabbalah and historical sources to explain both the text and the context of each Mishna, and to reveal their deeper wisdom.

Friday Women's Shiur
KSY and Jacqui Burnley invite you to a new shiur especially for woman, given by Rabbi Daniel Gefen.
The shiur will first cover one or two laws of Lashon Hara, followed by various laws of Shabbos. New laws on both topics will be covered each week.
Practical, spiritual and informative.
The shiur meets on Friday mornings starting promptly at 09:00 and finishing promptly at 09:45. At 82/17 Nachal Dolev (Jacqui Burnley's apartment). The first shiur will begin this week, 5-Jun-09.
Building Committee News
The building committee has set up a topic for members to review their activities and provide feedback on the plans for the proposed KSY community centre. The topic can be accessed via the KSY member’s forum at: http://forum.ksy.org.il/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=344 The building committee would like to welcome Tuvia Wertheim onto the committee. Tuvia comes with a wealth of building information, experience and ideas. For more info on the BC’s activities and plans speak to Danny Wajnblum.

Shabbos Program for Boys Ages 4-7!
The Shabbos Boys’ group will meet this Shabbos at 17:00: Games, races, stories and treats for all. Perfect for boys aged 4 to 7. Meet at Shivtei Yeshurun at 17:00 – if you are late look for everyone at the park on Nachal Ya’aleh.
KSY Parnosso Project
In light of the fact that a number of KSY members and friends are currently looking for work, Rav Haber is interested in using his network to help the situation. Please assemble your CV, a generic cover letter and a short job description title (e.g., Accountant, Web designer) and send them all to Rav Haber (yhaber@torahlab.org). Rav Haber plans to reach out to his many contacts to see how people can be helped.
Gemora Chaburah
Looking for a new gemora learning seder? The KSY Gemora Chaburah meets Monday and Wednesday evenings and Friday morning, learning maseches Avodah Zara under the guidance and instruction of Rabbi Yaacov Haber. Avodah Zara is a very eclectic and relevant Gemora delving into issues such as: Business and social interactions between Jews and non-Jews, halachos of lifnei iver, tefilla, psak halacha and mesirus nefesh. Rabbi Haber gives an elucidating and uplifting shiur on Wednesday evenings. Learning is b'chavrusa and b'chabura. Choleh List & KSY Database Online
In order to make the mi shebeirach for cholim a little more efficient, KSY now maintains a list of cholim via the internet. Current names on the list can be seen at http://www.ksy.org.il/cholim.asp. Please note that names that have not been updated for more than 2 months will not be announced. You can update a name by notifying the KSY Secretary or by logging into your account and editing the older Cholim records.

Can't get enough of the Rav's Torah? Listening to his MP3 shiurim is almost as good as being there.
